Behind the scenes

There is a lot going on behind the scenes in preparation for a professional cycling race. Today, all of the riders and staff have gathered at the TCP Service Course (This is where we store equipment, plan training sessions, and test all our TCP athletes including riders from Team ROOJAI ONLINE INSURANCE.)

It’s now three days before the start of our home race, the Tour of Thailand (UCI 2.1), and its now time to prepare our equipment for the race. We clean our NICH team bikes, replace chains, bartape, brake pads, service our Ceramic Speed bottom brackets, and prepare the racing wheels (Bontrager Tubeless ). We also prepare all the spare parts to bring to the race, and the riders collect their new, clean kit from Vsports our kit sponsor.

We have a big responsibility to provide the riders with everything they need to perform. We invest in the riders, and they spend their time training to be in the best condition possible for the races. Luck only plays a small role in high-level sport; you need to be better than everyone else to win and the race begins with preparation and well before the flag drops.
