Peter Pouly on Roojai Cycling's Preparation for UCI Races

As Coach and Manager Peter Pouly, I've been guiding the Roojai Cycling team through rigorous training over the last few weeks, all geared toward UCI races across Asia. Our altitude camp in Qinghai Lake and the Trans Himalaya was a game-changer—spending 30 days over 3000m to adapt to thin air, boost VO2 max, and build endurance with short, sharp climbs that delivered up to gains in power output over 20-minute thresholds.

This prep has us leading the 2025 UCI Asia Tour rankings, fresh off strong showings in the Trans-Himalaya and ready for upcoming challenges like the Tour of Shanghai or Tour of Salalah. With riders like Dylan Hopkins, Tegsh-Bayar Batsaikhan , and Maral-Erdene Batmunkh pushing limits, Roojai is set to climb even higher in the UCI standings.

These UCI-focused efforts are about strategic racing and resilience—let's keep the momentum rolling!
